About
A skilled visual designer with over a decade of experience producing campaigns, design libraries, apps & digital products; Luke specializes in interaction and storytelling in the digital space.
Luke has witnessed the transition from desktop to mobile and from print marketing to social media first hand, and is a vetted operative when it comes to bringing a project from research, through concept development, past implementation and into the iteration phase.
He loves creating engaging narratives, and strives to bridge the gap between artistic subjectivity and the principle-driven design process. Luke is a self taught visual artist that identifies as a passionate creative and proud pixel-pusher.
Story
I started my journey (look at me changing to first-person like a maniac!) in Sweden back in 2009 when I was fresh out of high-school and was offered to produce event posters for various night clubs around Stockholm. I taught myself how to use the Adobe creative suite and became a full-time freelancing graphic designer 2 years later.
It wasn’t long before I began to transition into creating digital products and services, working bigger accounts, as well as taking on design responsibilities in a start up.
In 2015 I took an internship at Designit Stockholm where I spent 4.5 years growing into a Senior role while working on everything from visual coding for machining software to brewery branding. Winning a few awards for the former.
For the last 3 years I have also, on the side, acted as Digital Product Owner of a new social marketplace platform by the name of Settr.
